This plastic rosary is very good for church events, fundraising, for communion giveaways, inexpensive gifts, for cars or just for yourself.
The beads and the crucifix of our plastic rosaries do not crack or break. There are no sharp machine leftovers (AKA mustaches), the crucifix thickness by design is 3 mm and unlike other plastic rosaries its sides are NOT sharp. Although, the rosaries are durable they feel soft on touch because our plastic rosaries are made with the latest technology out of high quality nylon*, which In general is a soft material. From that perspective our plastic rosaries are safe for children since will not crack or break.
Size: Inner Length: 11 inches (27.9cm). Outer Length: 16 inches (40.6cm).
Crucifix size: 1 3/4 inches (4.4cm), Thickness 3mm

*Nylon is a plastic of the group of the polyamides. Unlike, other plastics the nylon is very flexible and the same time durable. According to popular online resources: The nylon it is one of the least toxic plastics.

I'm just presently taking the classes to become a member of the Roman Catholic Church. I've heard of the rosary but that's about all. So I ordered a red one and a yellow one and am learning how to use a rosary. The red one a very nice and bright. I would like to echo John's comments (above) and say the the rosary seems quite sturdy and compact. I also bought the Black, Leather Rosary Pouch from RosaryMart.com. The pouch is 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches high with a snap closure. The rosary fits in it perfectly. So, for less than ten dollars plus a bit of postage you can't go wrong - you can have a nice rosary and leather pouch to go with it. Very good quality for 79 cents + tax and shipping.It really is pretty sturdy, as advertised, and also very compact. I can barely feel it sitting in my front pocket. It doesn't seem to tangle very easily, which is also a plus. The beads are a little smaller than I thought, and time will tell how long the Rosary will last. I carry the yellow one around in my car. Being a string Rosary, it will probably last much longer before breaking, than one of the chain type Rosaries. I never seem to have much luck with the latter: the chain links always seem to break before too long.
I need to order the phosphorus Rosary next, to enjoy the glow-in-the- dark properties when I say the Rosary at night in bed. (Posted on 2/26/2014)
